Barcelona transfers: Three low-cost signings and one star
The club are working on the project for next season already
Barcelona are working on next season’s project for Ronald Koeman, who seems set to stay for at least one more term.
The Dutchman is the architect of the reconstruction, and there are plenty of arguments for him to remain. Firstly, how he uses the young players, secondly, his chemistry with Leo Messi, and finally, his work to create a tactical flexibility and new training habits.
That means he will be given two of the players he asked for last summer, in Georginio Wijnaldum and Memphis Depay, as well as the club’s target Eric Garcia.
That’s three low cost signing and then an attempt to bring in one star player. Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
Currently he has a market price of around 150 million euros, and Barcelona will need to get him for less.
