Barcelona to make €5 million from May friendly in Australia
Xavi will take his squad to Sydney when the Spanish season ends
Barcelona have confirmed they will play a friendly against an A-League All Stars team in Sydney, Australia when the current season ends.
The match will be played at the Accord Stadium, which has a capacity of 80,000, and it will be the first time Barça have visited the country.
Barça will also make money from the friendly, with their trip to Australia worth around €5 million, with Xavi's side playing in Sydney on May 25, just three days after the LaLiga season ends.
The intention was to play a second friendly while there, potentially against Atletico Madrid, but in the end it will be a short trip.
The fact it's just one game, in the end, means Barça will have almost their entire squad. With the Nations League games being played between June 2 and June 14, the players will be able to make it back for international duty.
