They are only behind Atletico Madrid and Manchester City

Spain lead UEFA's coefficient calculations across the past five seasons. From 2015-16 until 2019-20 (given Barca v Napoli and City v Madrid are still live), with Atletico Madrid sealing their progress past Liverpool into the quarters of this season's Champions League.

Barcelona are considered (per these rankings), the third-best team in Europe, behind Atletico (21,000 pts) and Man City (the same).

Real Madrid only have 17,000 points and Liverpool, the reigning champions, are on 18,000.

Barcelona finished last season with 30,000 points, above Liverpool even, who finished with 29,000 points.

The coefficients of Barcelona recently have been: 26,000 (2015-2016); 23,000 (2016-2017), 25,000 (2017-2018), 30,000 (2018-2019) and 20,000. A total of 124,000 points.

They are only beaten by Real Madrid (134,000) and Atletico (126,000).

Fourth are Bayern Munich.
