Barcelona target De Ligt: I want to choose the best option
The Ajax centre-back's future remains in the air at the moment
Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt has still not revealed what the future holds for him ahead of the 2019-20 season.
In an interview with Dutch television channel RTL4, De Ligt revealed he's studying the four offers he has on the table: FC Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United or continuing at Ajax.
"There are various options andI reallyy want to choose the best," he said. "I am excited about what could happen in the near future, but I am also trying to stay calm."
"I view this as a challenge -- that is the most important thing. There are several options and I really want to pick the best one. Logically, one option is better than another.
"Life abroad could be difficult, but I am still an ordinary Dutch guy -- I am no different to the others. Perhaps living abroad will be more intense for me."
De Ligt, then, has still not revealed his next move, although it has been revealed that Juve's offer is worth more than Barça's.
