Ronald Koeman believes the squad needs new players if they are to challenge
Sign, sign, or sign. Koeman is sure. Barca need reinforcements if they are to fight for trophies. The coach is worried about a lack of depth. Using Martin Braithwaite on the left wing is not working. Koeman wants two players in January. Eric Garcia and Memphis Depay. Both end their contracts in the summer so could come at cut price.
Lyon have put Memphis Depay on the market for five million euros. They wanted 25 in the summer, having signed him for 16 from Manchester United in 2017. This season he has scored seven goals in 15 matches.
At Barca they also believe they can get Garcia. Man City's demands were too high but now they may accept he is leaving. Koeman needs defenders with Gerard Pique out, Lenglet in bad form and Umtiti unreliable.
