Barcelona see Paul Pogba's arrival as inviable

The French midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and is being offered round

Paul Pogba is out of contract at Manchester United next summer and from January 1 he will be free to negotiate his future. The club have offered him a succulent renovation but the player’s agent, Mino Raiola, is offering him to the continent’s biggest sides. Including Barcelona, but also Madrid, PSG and Juventus.

Barcelona see his arrival as inviable next summer given their economic crisis. They do want a central infielder but they can’t get close to the salary he would want, given he earns 17m euros a season in England, and Raiola always wants a big fat commission.

There might be an auction for Pogba among other clubs but Barcelona won’t be involved. In fact, they think that his agent is trying to get him better terms at Man United by doing this.
