Tottenham could move for the Polish forward if they don't get Willian Jose

Barcelona are in the market for a No.9 but have ruled out a move for out-of-favour AC Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek, who was considered.

The Catalan side are without the injured Luis Suarez for four months and are keen on bringing in Valencia's Rodrigo Moreno as a replacement.

However, they are also looking at other options in case Rodrigo doesn't come and Polish international Piatek featured on their long list.

He joined Milan last year following his goal-scoring exploits with Genoa but has dropped down the pecking order following the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

But Barça feel his profile doesn't fit what they're looking for this month. They want someone who is more mobile.

Piatek has other options on the table. He could end up at Tottenham as a replacement for the injured Harry Kane if the English club can't do a deal for Real Sociedad's Willian Jose.
