The Polish forward is a target for the Catalans and negotiations are tough with Bayern
Barcelona are sure that this summer they will sign Robert Lewandowski and the player wants to come. The third party, Bayern Munich, don’t agree. Negotiations are ongoing.
Barcleona’s most recent offer was 40m euros for the Pole, but the Germans aren’t thinking about letting him go for less than 50m. The Blaugrana know that they are on the right track but more negotiations lie ahead.
SportBild say that Lewandowski is more confident in Bayern lowering their demands than Barcelona raising their bid. Time is running against all parties, with pre-season in theory starting on July 12 for Lewandowski. The forward did not want that day to come without having sealed his move.
Xavi also hoped to have Lewnadowski by the time the club start their tour of the USA, facing Inter Miami, Real Madrid, Juventus and the NY Red Bulls from July 20.
