Barcelona release Ousmane Dembele medical statement
The French winger is set to be out for around four weeks
Ousmane Dembele went off injured in Barcelona’s 1-0 win over Girona on Saturday. The forward hurt his quadriceps and is going to be out for around four weeks.
After a race with Arnau Martínez, Dembélé stopped dead and asked for a change after quickly feeling discomfort in the affected part.
Barça has issued a statement, in which it confirmed that the tests carried out this evening on Dembélé have shown that he suffered an injury to his quads in his left thigh. He is out and set to miss a few games.
He is now more than doubtful for the Europa League double header against Manchester United.
