Barcelona reach deal with Jules Kounde for the next four seasons
The French defender has agreed a contract with the Catalan club who need to convince Sevilla
Barcelona are getting ever closer to signing Sevilla centre-back Jules Koundé. The Blaugrana have reached a deal with the French player for four seasons and hope to be able to seal the transfer this coming week.
Now they’ve arrived at this point the next step is to present their offer to Sevilla. As SPORT have reported Mateu Alemany's formula is one which the Andalusian club will like, which was born in Las Vegas on Saturday morning. The idea is to pay the entire transfer fee upfront.
They will not reach the €65 million deal that Chelsea had proposed, but Sevilla will get the cash immediately to spend. It’s known that Koundé is an express petition of the coach Xavi, who wants to reinforce the defence with this fine centre-back.
