Joan Laporta was asked about signing Messi at Sunday's Champions League celebrations

Lionel Messi's decision on his future seems to be days away. After confirming his departure from Paris Saint-Germain this weekend, all eyes are on the Argentine forward's next destination. On Sunday, the Barceñpna president Joan Laporta spoke about his future and the Catalan club's chances.

During the celebrations at Plaça Jaume for the second Champions League trophy won by Barça Femeni, several fans took advantage of the presence of Laporta to ask about the possible signing of Messi this summer. However, it is a deal in which the president no longer hides the difficulty of completing.

"It's difficult, we'll see," the Barça chief limited himself to replying to the constant and insistent questions about Messi.

He also added that "those who do what they can are not obliged to do more," making it clear that the club has tried by all means to be able to count on Messi next season.
