Fekir is one of the keys to Betis' success in LaLiga and the Copa this season
Barcelona are still making moves to strengthen the squad and to build another dream team. After making four signings in January, the summer market is set to be just as busy, if not more so.
There are several names on the table, with some being prioritised ahead of others, such as a move for a No.9 like Erling Haaland. The club are also monitoring players who are out of contract in June and available as free agents.
Meanwhile, the club are also working on other players the like, with some names given by the sporting directorate and others by the president. In that sense, SPORT have been told by Agencia TRENAS, Real Betis playmaker Nabil Fekir is liked by Joan Laporta.
It seems Barça could be prepared to pay up to €60 million to try and sign him, although Betis would not sell for less than €80m.
The Seville-based club are delighted with Fekir's performances at the Benito Villamarin and even managed to close a contract renewal with him recently until 2026, along with other key pillars of the team like Canales, Borja Iglesias, Alex Moreno and coach Manuel Pellegrino.
It's for that reason that any deal will be complicated, but Laporta won't take his eye off him.
