Reports in Italy claim the Catalan club would let the Dutchman move to Turin

The name Alvaro Morata is the latest to be linked with Barcelona ahead of the January transfer window. According to Diario AS, he's the striker Xavi Hernandez and Barça want to sign due to his goal-scoring ability and his contractual situation (on loan at Juventus but out of contract with Atletico in 2023).

In Italy, the reports go one step further. According to Goal Italia, Barça would even be ready to include Memphis Depay in any potential deal to be able to ensure Morata can arrive and be registered within the club's salary limit.

The report assures that Atletico, Morata's parent club, are being kept up to date with negotiations.

Memphis joined Barça in the summer from Lyon on a free transfer and has a contract until 2023. He played every game until injuring his hamstring earlier this month.
