Barcelona optimistic Semedo will be fit to play against Celta
Tests on Monday have ruled out a serious knee injury for the right-back
Barcelona are optimistic Nelson Semedo's injury is not to serious and, according to Diario AS, the Portuguese full-back could be ready for the Celta Vigo game on Saturday.
Tests at the club's training ground on Monday have ruled out a serious injury to Semedo's knee and he's likely to return to training this week.
It's also possible that Sergi Roberto -- missing for the last few weeks with a hamstring problem -- will be available for Celta's visit to Camp Nou.
Semedo was ruled out of Sunday's game at Levante at the last minute due to a pain in his knee, with Barça opting to change to a back three due to the fact they had no natural right-back.
However, with Semedo and Roberto back soon, coach Ernesto Valverde is likely to revert to a back four against Celta -- not least because, with Thomas Vermaelen and Samuel Umtiti injured, he only has two fit centre-backs.
