Barcelona offer winger Ousmane Dembélé contract renewal until 2027

Barcelona have already offered Osumane Dembélé a contract renewal until 30 June 2027. The French player's current deal expires in 2024 and negotiations are already underway to secure his continuity. The prospects are good as the player wants to continue at the Blaugrana and the club believe that an agreement can be reached so that he does not enter the final year of his contract without being tied down.

Dembélé's agents met just over a week ago with Barça's football department to start talking about his renewal. They were the first contacts in which the Blaugrana made it clear to him that they wanted to extend his terms. And he has already been presented with a proposal to prolong his contract for three more seasons in addition to the one that remains in force. Dembélé's entourage is studying the proposal in order to continue negotiations.

Barça consider Dembélé to be a strategic player and will do everything they can to keep him at Camp Nou for a few more years. The Frenchman renewed last summer, but did so for only two years after receiving several proposals from across European football. His relationship with Xavi Hernandez is very good and he feels happy in Barcelona, where he has recovered his physical sensations and has become one of the offensive references of the team.

Xavi has already made it clear to Dembélé that he wants him for the future and that he will continue to play a leading role in the team. In fact, the Frenchman is, along with Lewandowski, one of the two attacking players in whom Xavi trusts the most and who are sure to continue in the next project. In Xavi's plan for next season, Dembélé is an undisputed starter.

Both the Catalan club and Dembélé's entourage will continue to talk in the coming weeks about the offer that is already on the table.
