Barcelona not forgetting about Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix
The Portuguese forward is on loan at Chelsea at the moment
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have a fluid relationship. The most recent deal between the two was Memphis Depay's sale to the Rojiblancos. One of the names that has been mentioned between them is that of Joao Frlix.
Barcelona wanted to know about their palns for the 23 year old forward who has great potential but has not been able to exploit it under Diego Simeone.
Felix left on loan to Chelsea until the end of the season, fed up of suffering under Cholo. His start at Stamford Bridge looked bright until he was sent off on his debut. He has missed two games banned and has one more to go.
Joao is expected to return at the end of the season and may look for a permanent move away.
Atletico extended his deal until 2027 before the loan move. His agent is Jorge Mendes, who also has a good relationship with Barcelona - he's the agent of Ansu, Balde, and Nico Gonzalez.
Mendes light look for a formula to bring Felix to Barca under conditions that the club could meet. It would need to involve players going the other way most likely, so it won't be easy.
It's not the first time Barca have shown interest in Felix. They asked when Griezmann moved to Atletico.
