Barcelona negotiating with Salzburg to loan defender Mensah

Barcelona are looking for a B-team left-back and it seems they have decided upon Red Bull Salzburg's Gideon Mensah. The Blaugrana are in negotiations to loan the Ghanese footballer with an option to buy. Mensah is a U21 and U23 international and has played in the Austrian top flight. Salzburg are considering the loan offer and there is no definitive agreement because they are looking at other options.
Juan Miranda is poised to join Olympique Marseille on loan in the coming hours. He also had an offer from Schalke but it seems France will be his destination, where Barca are hoping he progresses. The Catalans also looked at Palacios but he is going to play in MLS.
Barca B are also looking for an attacker to complete the squad, hoping to get promoted.
