Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets: The sensations are good

Sergio Busquets returned to training with Barcelona last week after Euro 2020 and made his first appearance off the bench att the weekend against Stuttgart.

Ahead of Wednesday's test vs. Red Bull Salzburg, he spoke to the club's media channels from their training base in Germany.

"Preseason is going really well, being able to train in the climate we have here, resting and doing double sessions," he said.

"We are very happy with how it's going. I was able to play some minutes the other day. You do a bit more than normal in preseason, like usual. I am happy because the sensations are good."

He continued: "It's clear that last season was different due to the circumstances and we're trying to get back to normality. All players are coming back differently after playing in the Euros or the Copa America... but it's the same for all clubs with so many international players."

Looking ahead to the Salzburg friendly, he finished: "It's always good to play good sides, but the important thing is to find some form and go into the season well.

"Preseason is a little different, we always want to win, but the important thing is that everyone gets in shape and plays minutes, although it's always important to test yourselves against good opposition."
