Frenkie de Jong hopes Ronald Koeman continues as Barcelona coach next season as uncertainty continues to surround the Dutchman's future at Camp Nou.
"I know the same as you," De Jong told AD when asked about Koeman. "I hope he stays. I have a good relationship with him, but I don't have any influence on that. I also have to wait and see what happens."
For De Jong, Koeman's future is up for debate "only because Barça are one of the biggest clubs. It's always expected that they win the league. Due to the demands of the press and the fans, but also as a player that's what you want. If you fail, you've not done well in people's eyes. That's how it works."
On his own season, De Jong said: "It's difficult to mark it out of 10, but I wouldn't give myself much more than last season."
