Barcelona medical statement over Nico Gonzalez operation
The midfielder needed to have his foot looked at
Barcelona midfielder Nico Gonzalez was operated on, on Thursday, after an injury to his fifth metatarsal in his left foot. The operation was done in a Barcelona hospital, by doctor Antoni Dalmau, under the supervision of the club's medical services.
Nico is on loan at Valencia and got injured in their clash with Villarreal last week. He oculd be out for between a month and a half to three months, depending on how his recovery goes.
His treatment will be coordinated by both Valencia and Barca medical services.
