Barcelona keeping an eye on Chelsea striker Aubameyang's future

The forward left Barça last summer but could return this year

Aubameyang's future lies in a move away from Chelsea. Either now or in June. The English club want him to leave immediately and have given the go-ahead for him to join Los Angeles FC, but the player would like another chance at Barcelona, according to The Telegraph.

The ex-Arsenal man was offered a move in January but his signing was made impossible because of registration regulations, but he would be willing to try again in the summer if the conditions are right.

Aubameyang believes he made a mistake by leaving for Chelsea in a transfer that suited Barca after Memphis' departure to Juventus was thwarted. The Blaugrana, who signed him for free from Arsenal, received just over 10 million euros, but Aubameyang has never felt comfortable at the London club. At Barcelona, on the other hand, he performed spectacularly.

The striker asked to return to Camp Nou this winter on very good financial terms, but the deal fell through. Now he would also be in a position to try to force his way back to Barcelona in the summer at zero cost. Part of his family still lives very close to Barcelona and he understands that Barça is the perfect ecosystem to be able to perform at his best at the end of his career.

The Blaugrana were delighted with his performances and professionalism. Aubameyang knows that he would not be a starter, but he would be able to enjoy minutes and would accept his role without any problem.
