Barcelona hopeful of bringing in €20 million for midfielder Rakitic

The cards are on the table, even though there is plenty of time ahead for negotiations as Ivan Rakitic's Barcelona exit is prepared for the summer. 

Barça want to move him on at the end of the season and the player is keen to return to Sevilla. All three parties want an amicable agreement. 

The Blaugrana are waiting for a call from Monchi, but they have put a 20 million euro price tag on Rakitic's head, although they're aware the coronavirus crisis could have an effect on the transfer market. 

Rakitic will prioritise a return to Sevilla, who he played for before Barça, ahead of any other offer this summer. He has already rejected big offers, such as one from Juve, because he wants to stay in Spain. 

Therefore, he has two realistic options -- and Barça have not heard anything from Atletico Madrid despite reports in the Madrid press that Diego Simeone's side are keen on the Croatian.
