The French midfielder's contract expires with Manchester United in June 2022

Paul Pogba's future seems to change from one day to the next. Nothing can be ruled out and there are more possibilities than you can imagine. The French midfielder is out of contract with Manchester United next summer and from there anything could happen.

United hope Pogba will renew, but he also has various options on the table in other leagues. He can choose where he wants to play. And one of the teams in the frame is FC Barcelona.

Despite Barça's delicate financial situation, the board are taking measures to turn things round and to build a powerful team for next season. According to Fichajes.net, one of the names president Joan Laporta is considering is Pogba.

The report claims Laporta recently spoke with Mino Raiola, Pogba's agent (and Erling Haaland's), to express an interest in the France star. Raiola made Laporta aware there's likely to be a bidding war due to the interest in his client but, if Barça were interested, he would try and convince Pogba to pick them.

The other interested teams are Juventus, who want to re-sign him, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, in addition to United who want to retain him.

Pogba's been pushing for a move to Madrid because he wanted to play under Zinedine Zidane, but with the French coach gone, things could change. There have also been talks with Barcelona in the past.

Kylian Mbappe excluded, Pogba will be one of the big names next summer in the transfer market.
