Barcelona hid the operations on Ansu Fati and Philippe Coutinho
The Brazilian may miss the rest of the season and the youngster has been out for some time
Philippe Coutinho had his knee operated on again according to Esport3. The former Liverpool player is in Qatar, where he also took a medical on the meniscus injury. Barcelona have said nothing about this, just as they did with Ansu Fati. They were also very quiet about Gerard Pique and Pedri Gonzalez’s miracle recovery in just 48 hours ahead of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Sevilla.
It was the Onze programme on Esport3 that on Tuesday night published the news about the second operation that Coutinho took. He was expected to be out for three months but that has nearly passed.
The Ansu Fati situation was similar. It was the same outlet that said that his recovery had not gone well and that he was set for a second surgery. Barcelona did not report this to the media either.
