'Catalunya Ràdio' says he could end up in Turin after failed Man Utd move
Ousmane Dembele is following his own path. The forward turned down the chance to leave Barcelona for Manchester United in the final hours of the transfer market, a decision which makes more sense given the latest report from Catalunya Radio.
They say Dembele has been in contact with Juventus for a while. The France forward has a move to Italy on his mind, be that next summer or in 2022, when his contract expires at Camp Nou and he could leave for free.
The player's camp haven't given an explanation of his intentions. They closed shop when it came to an exit this month and Barça believe Juve are pressing for a move.
Even though coach Ronald Koeman's not counted on him so far, it remains to be seen what sort of role the winger will have now he has stayed. This will be his fourth season at the club and if he can remain injury-free he could yet play a big role this season.
