Barcelona forward Griezmann: Things are going to go better with Messi
The Frenchman compared his relationship with Messi to his one with Mbappe
Antoine Griezmann is optimistic with respect to his relationship with Lionel Messi following a season of adapting to life alongside the game's greatest ever player.
Griezmann told RTL while on international duty with France that his connection with Messi "has been similar to my relationship with [Kylian] Mbappe, at the beginning we didn't find each other with passes and I needed to time to build an understanding with him. Things with Messi are going to get better."
The Barcelona forward also spoke about a "really complicated season for everyone but now we can start again."

Griezmann's only desire is to succeed at Barca and was clear when asked about his intentions: "I am really good there, I know I have the backing of the club and the coach, so I am good.
"I can't wait to join up with my teammates again and giver everything to win every trophy possible, given we had a trophy-less season and it's been a long time since that happened for Barça."
