Barcelona eye Dortmund's Moukoko as Lewandowski replacement
The 17-year-old is seen as the striker who could eventually replace the Pole
Barcelona are already thinking about what path to take when Robert Lewandowski's contract ends. The club are tracking the market and have found a player who shows huge promise despite his young age.
At just 17 years old, Youssoufa Moukoko, from Cameroon and a German national, has aroused the interest of Barça scouts this season after his performances in the Bundesliga for Borussia Dortmund. He is already among the top scorers in the competition with six goals and four assists in the 12 games played.
Moukoko is in his second season as a professional. Developed at Dortmund, he stood out in the UEFA Youth League two seasons ago. He then went up to the first team last season playing 24 games (3 goals and 2 assists). He was Haaland's backup. This season, for example, he scored two goals in the last game against Bochum and registered two assists in the match against Sevilla.
