Barcelona deny there is a deal with Memphis Depay
In Holland they say Barca have a 25 + 5 million euro deal for the Lyon forward
Barcelona have not sealed a deal for Memphis Depay, say the club. The Dutch forward, with Lyon, is a target but the club must sell before they can buy.
De Telegraaf say the transfer deal is sorted, for 25 million euros plus 5 million in variables, with Lyon letting Depay link up with former Holland coach Ronald Koeman.
The same source says official confirmation on this deal will come this week. Barca sources said that is not true with the priority first on getting players off the wage bill.
Koeman would like the forward, to replace the likely departing Luis Suarez. Depay has replaced Lautaro Martinez as Barcelona's prime target.
