Barcelona defender Jeremy Mathieu has been offered to Olympiacos. The Frenchman is not in new coach Ernesto Valverde's plans and the club have put him on the market.
Injuries and a drop in form, especially this season, have seen Mathieu fall down the pecking order at Camp Nou. Valverde's agreed with the club's opinion to look for a new team for the centre-back. The Greek league could be a good option for the player, who has a contract with Barça until 2018.
Other teams are also interested in one way or another. Among them are French side Marseille and Portugal's Sporting Lisbon. Mathieu is one of the players that will leave Barça this summer, while Arda Turan is likely to be one of the others.
