They could even win sooner. Should Barca beat Alaves at Mendizorroza on Tuesday and then Atletico Madrid lose at Valencia on Wednesday, the title is Barca's.
Atletico could beat Valencia but then lose agaisnt Valladolid on Saturday for Barca to win the title, before they face Levante later that day.
Barca have 77 points with five games remaining, nine more than Atletico. That is effectively seven points because Barca have a better head to head record than the Madrid side.
