Barcelona trained on Monday with Junior Firpo back but Messi still out

Barcelona returned to work at the Cituat Esportiva to prepare for Saturday's game against Valencia, but with few resources. Only seven players came out to play, and among them there was no sign of Leo Messi, who is still continuing recovery from his calf injury that has stopped him from featuring this season. Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele didn't participate either, as they try to recover.

The main news was that Junior Firpo was back after a knee problem that kept him out against Osasuna in the last game. The players who were there are: Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal, Junior, Ansu Fati, Sergi Roberto, Piqué, Todibo and Wague.

Barcelona will get the rest of the squad back through the week after internationals, with Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba next to return after Spain's game against the Faroe Islands on Saturday.

The team will train in the morning each day until Friday, when they will work in the evening before the home game against Valencia on Saturday night.
