Barcelona aren't thinking about selling Abde Ez

The winger did well when called upon last season by Xavi and he could be useful going forward

In recent hours there has been speak of a transfer for Abde Ez to Villarreal. The Moroccan website Lions de l’Atlas reported that there was an offer of eight million euros, as coach Unai Emery likes him.

At Barcelona, however, they have no intention of selling a player who has done well whenever needed in the first team. Xavi counts on him and he’ll be in preseason with the rest of the squad from July 4.

The coach sees him as a differential winger, with the ability to beat a man, and audacity, a valuable type. The coach is also waiting to see what happens with regards to other potential winger arrivals.

The most likely outcome is that he’s registered as a first teamer, so Xavi can have all positions doubled up, although if they keep Dembele and make another signing then he could be loaned out. Osasuna have shown the most interest in that regard.
