| sport

The striker will move to Camp Nou this season following Griezmann's departure

Luuk de Jong will join Barcelona. The Catalan club have reached an agreement to sign the Dutch striker on loan from Sevilla, per ABC Sevilla.

Barça will pay little or no fee for the loan, but will pay his full salary. The move should be made official in the coming hours.

De Jong was first offered to Barça 10 days ago. Coach Ronald Koeman knows him well from the Dutch national team and was keen, but the club looked for other offers.

Sevilla gave the green light to the loan after signing Spain striker Rafa Mir from Wolves.

As De Jong arrives, Antoine Griezmann leaves. He is joining Atletico Madrid on loan for a €10m fee, with the deal to be made permanent for €40m next summer.
