Barca earn just over a million euros for the player who was out of contract in June

FC Barcelona and Sevilla both announced the transfer of Munir El Haddadi on Friday, with Barcelona making 1,050,000 euros out of the deal.

Munir will sign a contract for 3.5 years after taking his medical on Saturday.

"Barcelona and Sevilla FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Munir El Haddadi.  The Andalusian club will pay FC Barcelona 1,050,000 euros to sign the striker," said Barcelona in a statement.

"The club would like to thank Munir El Haddadi for his dedication and commitment and wishes him all the best for the future."

Munir's contract was up in the summer so Barca had to sell now or lose him for nothing come June. Ernesto Valverde had already told the Spain international that he would not be featuring in the side again this season.
