Barcelona and Boca Juniors will pay friendly in homage to Maradona
The late legend will be paid tribute to by two of his former clubs, in Saudi Arabia
Barcelona have published a statement saying they will face Boca Juniors on December 14, to pay homage to Diego Maradona.
They will play the match in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, at Mrsool Park, with 25,000 fans.
It will be the first time these clubs face each other in the middle east and will be streamed by Barca TV.
Up to this point Barcelona have faced Boca 10 times, most recently in the 2018 Joan Gamper trophy friendly, which Barcelona won.
It’s the second time in two years Barcelona will be back in Saudi Arabia, after playing in the Spanish Super Cup there.
