Quique Setien's side could see their plans changed due to the extreme weather

Barcelona kick off their Copa del Rey campaign against Ibiza on Wednesday but there focus at the moment is on the storm which could after how they play for the game.

Storm Gloria is currently sweeping across Barcelona and the Spanish coast, but the Catalan club say they're not aware of the need to change any plans as things stand. In fact, one club delegate flew to Ibiza without problems on Tuesday morning ahead of the game against the third division side.

One of the factors which could be cause for concern with regards to flights to the island is the strong winds. On Tuesday they reached 108km/h in Barcelona. Weather predictions for Wednesday suggest they will drop a little bit.

In club's plan is to leave from El Prat airport at around 11am. It's forecast to still be raining but the winds are anticipated to have died down, so the flight is not thought to be at risk.

The weather in Ibiza, meanwhile, should be a little better: cloudy and with a little wind. It's most likely to rain at 9pm, when the game is due to finish.
