Barcelona 1 Real Madrid 2: Bellingham brace robs Catalans of Clasico win

Barcelona threw it away, or maybe Jude Bellingham took it. Sixty minutes of Barcelona domination with one goal, 25 of Madrid on top and they got two goals, as Xavi put it.

Los Blancos lead the table, Girona are second and both are four points ahead of Barcelona, third.

It started so well. Ilkay Gundogan robbing the sleepy David Alaba and firing past Kepa to put Barca in front.

Fermin Lopez hit the post, so did Inigo Martinez in the second half, as Barcelona dominated.

They reduced Madrid to pot shots from distance, Rudiger, Tchouameni, Bellingham... ah, Bellingham's went in, and it changed the game.

After 68 minutes the midfielder rifled an effort into the top corner and Madrid were undeservedly level, even they would say that themselves.

From there, Barca faded badly. And just when it seemed like it would be a draw, they scored again. Bellingham, again.

It was lucky, with Luka Modric miscontrolling Dani Carvajal's cross, but Bellingham was in the right place at the right time for his 10th league goal of the season.

"I love these comebacks, it's hard on the heart but they are also fun games, we gave it our all, we didn't give up," said Bellingham.

"It's Madrid's DNA," added Modric.
