Incidencias

Partido de la 5ª jornada de LaLiga Santander, disputado en el Camp Nou a puerta cerrada.

Ronald Koeman's side were compact ant solid. They lacked energy but gave their all until the end following three games in a week to start the new season.

Sevilla took an eighth-minute lead through Luuk de Jong but Barça hit back immediately through Philippe Coutinho as the game started in a fast and open manner.

Both teams pushed for the third goal. Both teams pressed high. Coutinho was excellent and Lionel Messi was active, although Ansu and Griezmann struggled to make their mark against a good Sevilla side.

Barça came central more than wide. Griezmann and Ansu both had chances but neither troubled Bono in the visitor's goal.

Sevilla were a threat, too. A dangerous cross was turned onto his own bar by Ronald Araujo, while Ivan Rakitic came close on his return to Camp Nou.

Koeman turned to youngsters Pedri and Trincao from the bench and the latter had a good chance to win it as Barça pushed in the final 10 minutes.

Sergiño Dest also came on for his debut, playing at left-back in place of the injured Jordi Alba, and he set up Messi to fizz just wide as the clock ticked down.

But there was still time for one more Messi dance into the box. He looked to be fouled but VAR didn't even seem to look at it and the points were shared.

Barça end the week with seven points from three games. The international break awaits them now.
