Partido de la 55 edición del Trofeu Joan Gamper, disputado en el Camp Nou
The only goal of the game arrived after just two minutes. Lionel Messi did brilliantly to pick out Jordi Alba, who squared for Griezmann to open the scoring.
Barça had plenty of chances to score more goals, with Messi, Griezmann, Philipp Coutinho, Ansu Fati and Ousmane Dembele all working the goalkeeper, but were let down by their finishing.
The win made it three wins out of three for Ronald Koeman's side in preseason, with the action starting for real next weekend when Villarreal visit Camp Nou in La Liga.
Ahead of that Villarreal game, Koeman started with Messi, Griezmann, Ansu and Coutinho in attack, perhaps in a nod to who he will start next weekend.
There were appearances from the bench for Dembele, Francisco Trincao and Pedri, while Miralem Pjanic also came on for his first appearance since signing from Juventus this summer.
However, Riqui Puig was among the players left in the stands, along with Luis Suarez. Koeman has told him he can go out on loan if he wants because minutes will be hard to come by with the competition at Barca.
