Barcelona midfielder Sergi Samper is set to join Andres Iniesta and David Villa at Japanese club Vissel Kobe.
The terms of the deal have not been revealed but sources close to the talks say Samper will sign a four-year deal in Japan.
Samper will strengthen a Vissel Kobe side who this weekend picked up their first three points of the season against Sagan Tosu, who have Fernando Torres and are coached by Lluís Carreras.
Under the orders of Juan Manuel Lillo, Samper will have a chance to breathe life back into a career which has been affected by injuries.
In fact, he's only managed 33 minutes for Barça this season -- in the Copa del Rey game against Cultural Leonesa.
