Barça's Rafinha out for the season with cruciate ligament injury
The midfielder's terrible luck with injuries continued against Atletico
It's unliekly Rafinha will play again this season after Barcelona confirmed he has injured the ACL in his knee.
The midfielder picked up the problem against Atletico Madrid in the second half, but stayed on the pitch until full time regardless.
Tests at the training ground on Sunday have since confirmed the severity of the injury and Rafinha will; undergo surgery this week.
It's the third serious knee injury he's suffered -- he missed eight months in 2017 with a meniscus problem picked up in a win over Granada.
Rafinha's absence for the rest of the season may mean more chances for Carles Alena and Denis Suarez.
