The Catalans will definitely win La Liga if they win their two games this week

Barcelona now have their agenda for a week which could end with them crowned as the Champions of La Liga Santander 2018-19.

Without even taking into account how Atletico Madrid do in their upcoming games, Barça know that if they win their two matches in the coming days they will wrap up the league title.

Ernesto Valverde's team need just six points to win La Liga and that's assuming Atletico win all of their games, starting with Valencia on Wednesday.

Barça will train on Monday, with Valverde speaking to the press beforehand, ahead of Tuesday's game against Deportivo Alaves at Mendizorroza (21.30h CET, bIN LaLiga). Their other game this week is against Levante at Camp Nou (20.45h, Movistar Partidazo).

The rest of the week will focus on preparation. They only have Thursday and Sunday off before thinking about next Wednesday's (May 1) Champions League first leg semifinal against Liverpool.

On Thursday, Barça's first rest day, they could be champions. If they beat Alaves and Atletico lose on Wednesday to Valencia, the race will be over before Levante get to Camp Nou.

Here's Barça's agenda for the week:

  • Monday 22 April: Training
  • Tuesday 23 April: Alaves - Barcelona
  • Wednesday 24 April: Training.
  • Thursday 25 April: Rest
  • Friday 26 April: Training
  • Saturday 27 April: Barcelona - Levante
  • Sunday 28 April: Rest
