The club want to move on big wages and raise money for new signings

A lot of things are going to happen. This is one of the phrases heard in the offices at FC Barcelona after another Champions League debacle. In the coming hours, Quique Setien will be sacked and a new manager could be announced, as well as a potential date for elections.

But beyond that, the club have the challenge of re-modeling the quad with the belief that a cycle has ended. There have already been various meeting and the objective is to move on a lot of players, tor bring in money for signings and to save on big wages. The club are looking to make around 200 million euros in savings to facilitate the arrival of new players.

Barça's needs are very necessary in terms of signings, but nothing can happen without exits -- a lot of exits. Things will start to take shape next week. Júnior Firpo, Todibo, Rafinha and Rakitic's futures could be decided soon, but there will be more. In fact, only Ter Stegen, De Jong, Ansu Fati, Riqui Puig, Messi and the young signings are not for sale. Everyone else is up for grabs.

Barça will listen to offers, but they could also let big earners leave for free. The idea is to speak with those not in the club's plans and explain the situation to get the market moving. The club will discuss the plan in Monday's board meeting.

Signings will have to wait and will be made based on how Operation Sale progresses. It's going to be complicated summer financially but there will be new arrivals to give the team a fresh impetus.
