Andreas Christensen has just arrived at FC Barcelona and, like any recruit, is now in the process of adapting to his new environment. For the Dane, the match against Inter Miami means much more than just a friendly one. He believes it could be "a big step towards having a better relationship with his teammates".
The azulgrana centre-back spoke to the media at the press conference before Tuesday's match. "I've learned a lot this week and this is the next step I have to take. Although we train together, the best way to get to know each other is to play together in matches", Christensen explained.
When asked about what expectation the coaching staff have placed on him, he acknowledged that he hasn't been given any special instructions. "They haven't asked me for anything different individually; I do things my way and in matches, there may be different things, but I can learn quickly," he said.
