Barça's Messi returns to full training ahead of Sunday's Supercopa final
The forward will make a decision as late as possible over his involvement vs. Athletic
Lionel Messi returned to full training on Saturday ahead of Sunday's Spanish Supercopa final between Barcelona and Athletic Club.
The Argentine forward, who flew to Seville with his teammates this weekend, trained with the group at La Cartuja after training alone on Friday.
However, his involvement in Saturday's session doesn't confirm he will be available for the final.
Coach Ronald Koeman has said Messi will make a final decision on Sunday based on how he feels after training with the team.
"The player always has the last word because he's the one that knows his body the best," said Koeman.
Barça reached the final without Messi, beating Real Sociedad on penalties thanks to the heroics of Marc ter Stegen.
Athletic joined them there with a 2-1 win over Real Madrid, with both goals coming from Raul Garcia.
