Barça's likely line-up against La Real

Ronald Koeman's FC Barcelona will kick off their 2021-22 league campaign in a matter of hours, and the probable line up is named below.

Neto will start between the sticks, having been named Player of the Match in the 'Gamper' against Juventus and with Ter Stegen still sidelined with injury. Jordi Alba and Sergió Dest are sure to start at full back, with Gerard Piqué and Ronald Araujo expected to start in the heart of defence. This 4-man back line will already be familiar with one another, having played together various times in the last campaign.

Frenkie De Jong, having recovered from injury, and Pedri, now back from international duty, will accompany Sergio Busquets in the middle of the park.

Up front, Memphis and Griezmann are nailed on to start, with the remaining spot expected to be taken by Danish striker Martin Braithwaite. For the latter, it is a great opportunity to prove his worth and stake a claim for a spot in this season's squad.
