The forward is racing through the age groups for club and country

Lamine Yamal continues to break records. The talented Barcelona player, still only 15 years old, has received his first call up... for the Spain Under-19 team! A historical milestone, four age groups above the one that belongs to by age.

Lamal has been called up by coach Santi Denia, who has made last-minute changes to the squad for the friendly on the Oct. 25 against Germany at the Pforzeim Stadium. Along with Lamal, another Barça player has also been added, the Barça Atlètic winger Fabio Blanco, while Aleix Garrido and Ángel Alarcón, among others, have been ruled out. Arnau Casas, Ilias Akhomach and Víctor Barberá remain on the list.

The call comes for Lamine on the same day that he played for the U17 team, two steps above his age. He started in the 1-0 victory against Portugal in Debrecen (Hungary) to win the Exentos Tournament. The forward showed glimpses of his enormous quality in a game where Barça player Héctor Fort stood out at the right-back. Jorge Rajado, from Atlético de Madrid, was the author of the goal.
