The forward hasn't played since November and won't play again this season

Ansu Fati's injury nightmare continues. After the complications with the meniscus in his left knee, he underwent a fourth intervention this week in Portugal.

Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman spoke about the forward's injury problems that have sidelined him from action since November.

"I still have not spoken with Ansu, although I did speak with him before he travelled," Koeman said in a press conference on Friday.

The Dutch coach added: "Poor kid, it's been so long... There are things that haven't gone well but I don't want to say much more.

"Five, six months is a long time. Now the most important thing is that he recovers and gets back with us. It is a shame that won't be until next season.

"It's been a blow for us to be without a player like him, but the most important thing is that he recovers properly to keep playing."
