Barça's Jordi Alba would like next move to be close to home if possible

Jordi Alba announced last week that he would leave Barcelona at the end of the season, but he still has no concrete offers on the table for his next move.
In fact, Atletico Madrid are among the possible destinations for next season, but there is still nothing certain about the Catalan full-back's future.
Alba prioritises staying close to home if possible. His wife is due to give birth at the end of June and it doesn't seem the most appropriate time for him to be away from the family.
It is true that a big offer from Saudi Arabia would turn the tables upside down, but it is not the preferred scenario at the moment.
If he were to be called up by Spain this week for the UEFA Nations League Final Four, his stock would rise, although it seems highly unlikely.
