The forward is reportedly set to re-join former coach Tuchel in London
Ousmane Dembele's close to making a decision on his future and it seems it will be away from Barcelona. TalkSport assure that the French will is close to signing for Chelsea on a four-year deal to become the first arrival of the Todd Boehly era.
Chelse have pressed for Dembele even before Boehly took over the club but more so since there has been clarity with the American's take over this past few weeks. Paris Saint-Germain also wanted to united Dembele with Kylian Mbappe in France.
In England, the reports say Thomas Tuchel has been key. He worked with Dembele at Borussia Dortmund and has played a big role in convincing him to move to England following five years with Barcelona.
The Chelsea coach is keen to strengthen this summer and in attack the club expect to lose Romelu Lukaku, who has not made the impact expected after his €100 million move from Inter Milan last summer.
Dembele has not communicated anything to Barça and his still not replied to their last contract offer. His camp made it clear the offer was not as high as they expected but they were willing to negotiate.
Dembele has never hidden his desire to continue at Camp Nou but the financial side of Barça's offer is nowhere near what other clubs can pay. Next week could be key in a final decision, but in England they already see him as a Chelsea player.
